SUNBURY – A former human relations administrator for a company that manufactures custom and standard steel roll-off containers has admitted giving herself raises and making thousands of dollars in personal purchases using the firm’s credit card.
Jennifer L. Leonard, 51, of Selinsgrove, pleaded guilty Tuesday in Northumberland County court to a theft charge. She remains free on $250,000 unsecured supervised bail pending a restitution and sentencing hearing scheduled for April 10.When confronted by police on Aug. 20, 2021, sheof Custom Container Solutions Inc., of Milton, for personal purchases, receiving additional pay and modifying documents to conceal it.
The arrest affidavit states Leonard used the credit card to make purchases totaling $234,192 between November 2018 and May 2021. She also entered information in the company’s Paylocity account that resulted in her being overpaid by $2,700 in 2020 and $13,078 in 2021, the charge states.
