Erin Petroski, 39, of Ross Township, was sentenced to 3 to 6 years in jail and five years probation for the January 2023 death of 31-year-old Elizabeth Griser, of Shaler.

A Pittsburgh-area woman has pleaded guilty to charges in connection with a fatal hit-and-run that took a woman’s life back in January, according to reports.

The charges Petroski pleaded guilty to included homicide by vehicle, accident involving death or personal injury and driving under the influence of alcohol or a controlled substance. The incident occurred on Jan. 13, when Petroski struck Griser on Babcock Boulevard near the Sheetz and sped off. Griser was transported to a local hospital before she was pronounced dead a short time later, it was reported.
