Padraig McCrory hasn't fought since losing to Edgar Berlanga back in February
Jamie Conlan says the wheels are in motion to get Padraig McCrory back in the ring. The 'Hammer' hasn't fought since losing to Edgar Berlanga in Florida back in February.
It had been hoped to pair the Belfast boxer with Luke Keeler on August 3 in a huge all-Ireland domestic showdown, but a an injury to Keeler has torpedoed those plans.Read more: Rory McIlroy blanks media and makes quick getaway after US Open collapse "We are trying to figure it out. We have August 3 coming up, and if there is a fight that makes sense we will get him on it," Conlan told Belfast Live.
"The pressure is gone after the Berlanga fight. Pody had to carry a big weight going into that fight, and he tends to overthink things and invite more pressure onto his own shoulders," Conlan added.
