A former Labour councillor found with a hoard of child abuse images was allowed to visit nurseries and schools despite police being warned he could be a pervert.
But the Sunday Mail can reveal officers were warned vile images were being viewed in Dillon’s home in May of that year and even obtained a search warrant but took months to execute it. One disturbing picture taken just weeks before his arrest showed him on a visit to a local nursery to celebrate it achieving a good inspection grade.
