A Paisley councillor has said he doesn’t want to “live life with regrets” as he resigns from the SNP after more than two decades today.
“You don’t want to live your life with regrets and I deeply regret voting to put the parking through for Paisley. I don’t want to have to do these things again. “I’m going to do what is right for my constituents. It doesn’t matter if it’s the SNP or Labour putting up a motion. If I believe it’s the right thing for my constituents, I will support it.”
