Two hooded men have been caught on camera entering the driveway of a property in Giffnock before peering in the windows and making off with packages in shocking footage.
Residents in East Renfrewshire have reported a significant increase in incidents of theft in recent weeks with criminals allegedly stealing cars and breaking into homes. One homeowner caught two thieves on CCTV entering their driveway while he was out in what looks to be an attempted robbery. After first being picked up walking along the opposite side of the street, the pair can be seen crossing the road and entering the gates of the property on Ayr Road on January 6.

Local area officers from Police Scotland have assured the public that there has been "no increase in relation to thefts and robberies in the area" and that they had not received a report on the incident on Ayr Road.
