Parents are NOT HAPPY about the new rule the school has brought in – which will be rolled out to all year groups
The school say the move is due to the need to guarantee a certain number of hot meals from the school's lunch provider, and says new parents are informed of the rule before they apply for a place.that they're unhappy with the new mandatory rule, with some claiming the quality of the meals is not good enough.
She told The Mirror: 'I just monitor what she eats and make sure she does not have too much of anything that is going to upset her tummy. The mum also said she had asked the school to provide a simple sandwich option for lunch but was told this was not possible.Parents say Unicef's children's rights – which the school is signed up to – are being breeched by the new rule.
