Olympics gender row erupts after female boxer quits against fighter disqualified from World Champs
THE fourth women's 200m individual medley heat was briefly delayed after Slovak swimmer Tamara Potocka collapsed at the side of the pool.She collapsed as she got out of the water and immediately received treatment from staff.The venue manager quickly confirmed that she was conscious and under medical assessment.
Commentators watched on in horror while the incident unfolded. One person said: "This doesn't look good... 15,000 people are now watching an athlete surrounded by medical staff and I can assure you it's absolutely silent in here.
