Park for a pound in Blackpool as Christmas By The Sea returns to promenade
Visiting Blackpool in the run up to Christmas just got even more appealing. Discounted parking is to be introduced in the seaside resort for several weeks this festive season.
The initiative coincides with the return of the record-breaking Christmas By The Sea event on the promenade at Tower festival Headland.The winter wonderland village includes a free skating rink, wintry light installations and projection shows, log cabins, magical artificial snowfall, Christmas trees and tram rides. The 260ft-high Star Flyer swing ride will also return to the seafront.
