Park Ridge announced a snow plow naming contest for its 14 snow plows. Residents will vote on their favorites after city staff narrow submissions to 30 finalists.
Fall is in full swing, with stuffy noses from the change in the season, flu shots, and COVID-19 shots being plastered into arms, as parents all over think of ways to keep their kids warm when they go out trick or treating.but it’s never too early to think about winter, especially when Park Ridge is having a little fun kicking off a contest for residents to name its 14 snow plows. Residents have until Oct.
25 to send their submissions to the city through an online portal at https://parkridgeil.rja.revize.com/forms/6635. City staff will judge entries on the criteria of wittiness, creativity and coolness. The rules are simple. Submissions must be made by Park Ridge residents, be no longer than 30 characters, and contain no profanity or inappropriate language. Duplicate names will be excluded. City staff will decide on 30 finalists and residents will vote on their favorite.
