Lauren Harris, 29, and her accomplice David Webster, 43, were found guilty of the murder of Mark Wilco.
A woman and man have been handed life sentences for the killing of a "caring and generous" grandfather of nine.
At one stage during the trial, while the jury were out of the courtroom, Harris could be heard singing the Shania Twain pop song “Man! I Feel Like a Woman!” as she was brought into the dock. On November 20, officers attended Mr Wilcox's flat and found him with serious injuries including two stab wounds. Harris and Webster had fled in the victim's Volvo which was later found crashed.
The court heard that at some point Mr Wilcox's bank card had been provided "not willingly" to Harris. In the five and a half months before the murder £12,481 was withdrawn from his account. But on the day of the killing Harris had made eight attempts to get money from the account and felt "anger" at not being able to do so.

"It was a murder committed at least partly in anger as Mr Wilcox no longer had funds. You both callously helped yourself to his car, phone and watches and left him for dead. You gave him no further thought as you focussed on your own selfish needs."
