Patrick Dempsey and his wife, Jillian Dempsey, are still going strong — but they’ve experienced some ups and downs in the public eye.
“I went in where she was working, and I looked across the room at her and was blown away,” the actor shared. Things between the duo turned romantic in 1997. They wed two years later and have since welcomed three kids together. The Dempseys eventually called off their split, and Patrick later explained how he and Jillian had reconciled.
The duo attended “very important” couples counseling so they could “work on our issues and improve,” he recalled. “We wanted to be role models for our kids like, ‘OK, if you have differences, you can work them out.’”Patrick and Jillian officially tied the knot.The couple welcomed their first child together, Talula Fyfe.January 2015
