Paul Cattermole’s heartbroken ex Hannah Spearritt broke down after hearing of her former bandmate’s tragic death
They enjoyed hits including S Club Party, Reach and Never Had A Dream Come True but Paul left the band in 2002 and they eventually split a year later.He had also embarked on a relationship with Hannah in 2001 but started drinking heavily after they broke up in 2006.
In 2014, S Club 7 performed together at Children in Need and the following year reunited for a Bring It All Back Tour. Paul, on stage again with Hannah, later revealed their reunion was blissful for two weeks before it turned sour. Hannah was said to be undecided about signing up for the tour due to the “awkwardness” of having to be around him again.. It is not known if the tour due to start in October will now take place. Paul said in February he had consulted with tarot cards to see what the future held, and they showed “good luck”.tweeted last night: “This is so sad.
