Paul Manafort was sentenced to 43 additional months in prison on Wednesday for two crimes related to his political consulting work in Ukraine, leaving the former Trump campaign chief facing a total of more than seven years behind bars.
U.S. District Judge Amy Berman Jackson in Washington, D.C., imposed the sentence after finding last month that Mr. Manafort had lied to special counsel Robert Mueller’s investigators about multiple topics, in breach of his plea deal.
