They've been the two best ACC teams by that measure, and this suggests a potential tossup in Tallahassee. The defenses appear to hold the advantages. Tennessee ranks 12th in points allowed per drive, and Alabama is 15th. Both offenses rank in the 50s. Bowls might not mean as much as they used to overall, but they still mean the world to some. A number of bowl pushes will help to define Week 8.
