After parsing out data between location, the most popular Christmas movie in Pennsylvania was found to be “National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation” which, as it so happens, is the nation’s number one, too. “Comic strip character Charlie Brown once said, ‘Isn’t there anyone who knows what Christmas is all about?’” reads the study. “Let’s say that if Christmas in the U.S. was about Christmas movies, it’s ultimately about ‘National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation.’ The film is a state favorite for nearly 80% of the nation!”
That’s right—a total of 40 states expressed the most interest in the “National Lampoon” film, while “It’s a Wonderful Life” took the number two spot and “Die Hard” in third.
