The suspect reportedly pulled a pen knife from his sock
A MAN has been arrested after a disturbance in Paisley left a pensioner injured at the weekend.
A 72-year-old man noticed another man acting suspiciously next to a vehicle in Craigiebar Drive at around 7.20pm on Saturday night.It is alleged the pensioner was then punched to the head and body by the suspect before he fled the scene. Police revealed that the older man was taken to the Royal Alexandra Hospital in Paisley, for treatment to bruising and swelling to the face.He was charged with assault and possession of a knife.
