Emergency crews raced to Old Sneddon street in Paisley but the woman was pronounced dead at the scene.
The incident happened at around 2pm today, Wednesday, August 30, on Old Sneddon Street in Paisley.
Emergency services scrambled to the scene but the 73-year-old woman was sadly pronounced dead, Glasgow Live reports. One lane of traffic was closed by cops and the area was cordoned off, with a blue tent being placed around the scene. Police have informed the woman's next of kin and said there were no suspicious circumstances surrounding the death.
