Diane Durham has appeared in court
Diane Durham, 62, of Church Lane, is charged with communicating information which she knew or believed to be false, with the intention of inducing in that person or any other person a false belief that a thing liable to explode or ignite was present at Buckingham Palace. Ms Durham was said to have made communications to the Metropolitan Police about a "bomb" on May 17 this year, according to court documents.
On that date, the King was not at the Palace, but Princess Anne and Sir Tim Lawrence were on the grounds hosting a party for a veterans charity.
