Some say it is too early to be in the shops - but others are ready to dive straight into the festive season in August
Some thought it was a bit too soon when Home Bargains released its brand new Halloween range earlier month. But, it would seem shoppers are already feeling the festive spirit as Christmas decorations have been spotted in stores.
On social media, shoppers have shared videos of aisles filled with delightful décor, wrapping paper and more. In one TikTok video, that has garnered thousands of views and hundreds of comments, one eager fan of both Home Bargains and Christmas asked: "Can I get my tree up in August? Serious question because surely this is a sign?"
As the content creator went through the shop, she saw red and white 'candy cane style' bits of décor as well as a wall full of gift bags and wrapping paper. Some sections were silver and gold with popular staple characters like The Grinch and Disney's Mickey Mouse also appearing in the brief overview of the aisle.
Viewers were even given a glimpse of some Christmas Eve boxes as well as activity and story books for children. This is unlikely to be everything available with more items usually put out on the shop shelves nearer to Christmas.
