Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola spoke about what midfielder Matheus Nunes can bring following his summer transfer
Pep Guardiola is looking forward to Matheus Nunes learning the Manchester City way while bringing his own style to their play.
Guardiola had called Nunes one of the best players in the world after City had beaten his Sporting team 5-0 in the Champions League and sees plenty of potential in someone who can play in a number of different roles. As much as the Portugal international will fit into the system at the Etihad, the City boss believes that Nunes possesses qualities that cannot be taught.
"He has to improve with his first contact in decisions on one touch but his ability to dribble and drive with the ball like Kevin [De Bruyne], his energy going backwards, he played in the last games for Wolves as a winger. He can play in multiple positions and has special qualities that are so difficult to find.
