MOUNTAIN VIEW – A Caltrain hit a person Wednesday night in Mountain View, according to the commuter rail line.
The collision, which involved a northbound train, was reported at 6:16 p.m. at the San Antonio Station, Caltrain said in a social media post. An update on the person’s condition was not immediately available.Multiple trains were experiencing delays as a result of the collision, according to Caltrain.
At approximately 6:16 PM, NB711 struck an individual at SAT in Mountain View. Emergency personnel are on scene and trains are currently stopped. There are approximately 50 passengers onboard the train, with no reported injuries onboard.
