The pedestrian was hit in Westwood on Monday morning, officials said.
The person was hit by a Pascack Valley line train at 9:47 a.m. in the area of Broadway and Jefferson Avenue in Westwood, according to a spokesman.There were 30 customers aboard train 1605, which left Hoboken at 8:56 a.m.
and was due in Spring Valley, New York, at 10:10, officials said.Service was suspended on the Pascack Valley line between Spring Valley and the New Bridge Landing station in River Edge as of 11:05 a.m. Monday, officials said.
