Perth actor Sally Reid's cycle remembered late mum Florence who died in 2020.
Scot Squad star Sally Reid and her team have raised more than £6000 by completing a charity cycle in memory of her mum.
The four-strong team took in Scotland’s seven Open Championship venues and were welcomed to the Maggie’s Centre in Dundee by the Perth Rock Choir, which was close to Flo’s heart.“Everyone was very welcoming along the way and we are thrilled with the support the fundraiser has enjoyed,” said award-winning actress Sally , who is looking forward to returning to Pitlochry Festival Theatre in ‘Shirley Valentine’.
“The last time I was on a bike was playing my Scot Squad character PC Sarah Fletcher, when co-star Jordan Young and I had to peddle along the banks of the Union Canal. Sally was given great support from the Scots acting community, including celebrity pals Blythe Duff and fellow Perth-born actor Colin McCredie of Taggart fame, Scot Squad colleagues Jordan and Julie Wilson Nimmo, Still Game’s Greg Hemphill and panto kings Grant Stott and Barrie Hunter.
