Planning regulations to store liquid petroleum at a site near Glasgow Harbour have been revoked by city council planning chiefs.
During this week's meeting an application was presented to elected members to revoke the now redundant Hazardous Consent at 72 Castlebank Street following the redevelopment of the area. This meant that four separate stacks of LPG canisters and three slip trailer stances for these canisters could be stored in the centre of the site.
An application was brought before the planning committee today, which explained that because the land had been transformed, the consent was no longer in use and therefore no longer needed.
