Passengers onboard a flight to Manchester have spoken out on the ‘dramatic’ moments they were forced to divert to Birmingham after the plane was 'tilting' in strong winds.
41-year-old Jennifer Pardoe, was travelling back to Manchester Airport with her partner and three-year-old daughter after a ten-day holiday in Lanzarote. Speaking to Manchester Evening News, she described the flight 'like a rollercoaster'."We are all used to having a little bit of turbulence on a plane, and we were told there would be a bit of bad weather getting close to Manchester. It seemed normal, I remember the pilot telling us we were about 30 minutes away.
"It was a bit scary when the plane suddenly pulled up. It was a bit like a rollercoaster. My daughter loves flying, but she went quiet. It was a big relief to get to Birmingham!"
