Reata plans to price Skyclarys at $370,000 a year, meaning it needs to sign up around 1,000 patients to cover the company’s $300 million annual operating costs.There has been “strong initial demand” for the drug, Huff said, with more than 500 patient start forms submitted by care providers. The company estimates a market demand of approximately 4,500 patients.
