Entries including a finisher t-shirt and goody bag will be closed on Wednesday, August 21
With just six weeks to go until the Robin Hood Half Marathon, runners across the city are preparing for the big day. This year's event will take place on Sunday, September 29, and is expected to be the biggest Robin Hood Half and Mini Marathon in memory.
This year has seen an unprecedented number of entries, and on Wednesday, August 21, entries to the race that include a finisher T-shirt and goody bag will be closed. Race director Judith Manson said: "We continue to be humbled by the incredible levels of interest and community involvement in this event.
"The Robin Hood Half Marathon is more than just a race. It's a celebration of community, resilience, and the shared spirit of this wonderful city."We are thrilled to see so many runners eager to take part in 2024. This is your great city and truly is your great race." Medal-only entries will still be available after August 21, with a maximum number of 10,500 entries for the 2024 event.
The course will be the same as in 2023 and will start and end at the Victoria Embankment, whilst passing Nottingham Castle and wollaton-park>Wollaton Park on the 13.1 mile course.
