Temperatures flirted with 100 yet again this afternoon. Late-day storms are possible tomorrow.
The Storm Prediction Center has parts of the region — near and northwest of Interstate 95 — under a Level 2 of 5 risk for severe weather Thursday. Questions of storm coverage aside locally, there will be relatively high humidity and of course significant heat as a cold front approaches the region.
A cold front into a big heat wave is one of the simpler but more consistent ways to get storms around here, so it’s certainly worth checking back tomorrow for the latest.
