Paul Pogba's Juventus return is not going to plan, with Frenchman facing even more time on sidelines
Paul Pogba’s move back to Juventus following the expiration of his Manchester United contract seemed like the best move for all parties.
But unfortunately for the Frenchman, he hasn’t had the chance to play one minute for the Serie A club since he returned in the summer – and now his debut has been delayed even further.Just four days ago, the midfielder took to Instagram and expressed how excited he was to finally be edging closer to pulling on Juve’s black and white strip again after being on the bench against Monza.
“So happy to be back with my team, big thank you to all the fans for the warm welcome,” he wrote on his Instagram picture of him at the game. “We’ll come back stronger.”has picked up a ‘flexor problem’ ahead of Juve’s Coppa Italia quarter-final against Lazio on Thursday, according to manager Massimiliano Allegri.“Aside from [Leonardo] Bonucci, the only other player not available is Pogba who had a flexor problem,” the Italian said.
Pogba – who last played for Juventus between 2012 and 2016 before his £89million return to Old Trafford – had injured himself just after he re-signed for the Old Lady on a free transfer.
