Transport for London engineers are into their second day of trying to fix the problem on the District line.
Not a great start to rush hour this morning There’s chaos on the District line – and now, the Northern Line – for the second day in a row after a points failure at High Street Kensington. The London Underground station was closed to commuters during rush hour yesterday evening while engineers tried to fix the problem. There’s now been a points failure at Euston which is causing problems on the Northern line, meaning no service from Kennington to Camden northbound via Bank.
Trains from Morden to Kennington are also severely delayed after a person fell ill on a train earlier this morning. August 15, 2024 7:56 am Some movement between Edgware Road and High Street Kensington Katie Boyden One of our reporters at High Street Kensington says there are services running to Edgware Road approximately every 12 minutes.However a board on display at the station says there are severe delays on the District and Circle line, which both run through the station.
