GMP has issued a warning to parents
Police have fired a warning to families after children were spotted 'messing around' on two Greater Manchester motorways. Officers fear youths are risking their lives after being seen walking by the M60 near Middleton and the A627M near Rochdale.
GMP is now urging parents and guardians to speak to their children about the dangers of walking alongside motorways. In a Facebook post this morning , a GMP Rochdale spokesperson asks: "Do you know where your children are?"The post continues: "We have been made aware that over the last week or so children have been walking along the hard shoulder and messing around on the wrong side of the motorway bridge.
