The incident happened at around 1.30pm today and saw the police vehicle become involved in the collision in a Volkswagen Polo closed to junction 33. Injuries sustained as a result of the crash were minor, police said, though it’s not clear if they were referring to the police officers or the driver of the Volkswagen Polo.A spokesperson for police said: “At around 1:30pm today, one of our police vehicles was involved in a collision with a Volkswagen Polo on the M6 near to junction 33. Thankfully, any injuries suffered were minor.”
