The incident was reported shortly before 4:30am on Sunday

Police are appealing for anyone with information to come forward after a car was set alight in an East Belfast park in the early hours of Sunday morning.

A PSNI spokesperson said: "Police received a report of arson at the Orangefield Park area of East Belfast on Sunday 14 th July. "Enquiries are continuing and the incident is being treated as deliberate ignition. Police would appeal to anyone with any information in relation to the incident, to contact them on 101 quoting reference number 274 14/07/24.
