A man arrested on suspicion of manslaughter in connection with the death of Nottingham Panthers ice hockey star Adam Johnson has had his bail extended. Detectives confirmed he was re-bailed on Thursday, April 25.
"A man was arrested on 14 November last year on suspicion of manslaughter and later bailed. Today he has been further re-bailed until Tuesday 14 May 2024. Our thoughts remain with Adam’s loved ones as our investigation continues." Thousands of fans paid tribute to him at the Elite League Playoff Finals Weekend at the Motorpoint Arena on Sunday. Fans held a minute's applause in the 47th minute - Adam's jersey number - of the grand final between Sheffield Steelers and Belfast Giants.
