British billionaire Mike Lynch and his teenage daughter were amongst the victims onboard when the superyacht capsized just off the coast of Sicily in stormy weather.
Police have reportedly launched a manslaughter probe over the Bayesian yacht sinking after five people onboard died following the tragedy.
Prosecutors earlier interviewed yacht captain James Cutfield, 53. It was reported he was questioned at great length about what happened the day of the incident. He told them it happened in a "few minutes", reports the Mirror. Last night the national head of the fire brigade Carlo Dall’Oppio said operations are proceeding slowly because they have to protect the safety of the divers.
