Suspect Rodney Moyer approached the victim in Circle-K parking lot and threatened him with a gun, made him withdraw funds from an ATM machine and forced the victim to drive him to Philadelphia.
Rodney Moyer, 45, faces numerous felony charges that include robbery, kidnapping, unlawful restraint, false imprisonment, and a misdemeanor count of theft, according to reports.
He then directed the victim to go into the store and withdraw money from the ATM and threatened to shoot the victim and others in the vicinity if he didn’t. He then instructed the victim to drive him to Philadelphia. During the drive, Moyer told the victim to stop at another ATM and withdraw more money, which the victim did.
