He admitted it in court today

A police officer has admitted stalking a colleague and using police computers to attempt to gain unauthorised access to information

Between December 2020 and July 2022, Sgt Justin Fraser, 51, monitored the woman's shift patterns, harassed her on social media and made unfounded reports about her to senior colleagues. As a result of his actions, the woman, also a serving police officer, suffered serious distress. While on duty in Skelmersdale and Chorley, Frazer also used police computers to attempt to access information he was not authorised to. He pleaded guilty to stalking and unlawful computer use at Preston Crown Court today .

The Honorary Recorder of Preston, Judge Robert Altham, granted Fraser bail and ordered him to return to court on August 29 when he will be sentenced. However, Fraser has been warned he must not contact his former colleague or go within 100 metres of her address.
