Police want to speak to this man following the attack on Friday night

Detectives have launched an appeal after a man was attacked on a Metrolink tram. Several of the tram's windows were also damaged following the alleged assault.

The victim suffered minor injuries. Officers were called to the scene but were unable to find the suspect.
