A busy road was closed for several hours
A woman who was hit by a bus at a busy city centre junction has been released from hospital. Police closed off a stretch of Upper Parliament Street for more than five hours after the collision outside the Victoria Centre at 2pm on Wednesday, November 23.
A woman was taken to hospital as officers put in place a cordon between Glasshouse Street and Milton Street, causing severe travel disruption. In an update provided to Nottinghamshire Live on Tuesday Nottinghamshire Police said the woman, a pedestrian, had since left hospital. A spokesperson said: "The woman has been released from hospital and our investigation is ongoing." Following the incident, the police force appealed for witnesses or information that could assist their inquiries. Anyone with any information is asked to call 101, quoting incident number 372 of November 23.
