Child injured in two-vehicle crash in Kensington [Breaking]
A 6-year-old boy died after the vehicle he was riding in was in a two-vehicle collision in the Kensington neighborhood early Wednesday, officials said.
Just before 8 a.m., firefighters from the San Diego Fire-Rescue Department responded to the intersection of Adams Avenue and Biona Drive after receiving a call about a crash. First responders found a vehicle on its side resting on a fire hydrant with the child trapped inside, the department said.The child was freed in fewer than 30 minutes and taken to Rady Children’s Hospital for treatment of unknown injuries, according to the department.
