February 23, 2022 at 10:13 am ESTDUVAL COUNTY, Fla. — Officers with the Jacksonville Beach Police Department are actively searching for evidence related to the investigation of a local dad’s death.
Police began a search at 9 a.m. in the wooded area of Sanctuary Boulevard between Jacksonville Drive and J. Turner Butler Boulevard. That area is near where police said Jared Bridegan, a 33-year-old father of four, was shot and killed in front of his 2-year-old daughter last week.
