A number of locals contacted police to complain about the anti-social behaviour.
Police in Glasgow have seized a motorbike after it was caught being ridden on roads and footpaths in the Haghill area.
Locals reported the anti-social behaviour and reckless riding to police before off-road bike officers tracked down the rider and passenger on Friday night. Two people caught with the motorbike have been reported for 'numerous' road traffic offences and the bike has been seized by officers. The Greater Glasgow Violence Reduction Unit has urged anyone with information on the misuse of off-road bikes and quad bikes to contact them.
A spokesperson for Police Scotland said: "GGDVRU encourages the safe use of these bikes at designated tracks, organised events, or private land . Anti-social use in the community tarnishes the reputation of genuine, responsible enthusiasts and makes it harder for those trying to organise events or areas to ride legally.
