A man was stabbed in a group attack at a park in Long Eaton, police have said. Derbyshire Police said the victim - a man in his 20s - was taken to hospital after he was attacked by a group of teenagers at Sawley Park, in Draycott Road.
The incident, near a medical centre, was reported at about 6pm on Tuesday, September 5. Police said the victim, who was left with stab wounds, was expected to make a full recovery. Police continue to investigate the circumstances of the attack and described it as an 'isolated incident'. Patrols have been stepped up in the area.A 15-year-old boy has been arrested on suspicion of assault, in connection with the incident, and has been released on police bail.
Officers are keen to speak to anyone who may have witnessed the incident, and in particular anyone who may have footage which may help the investigation.
