The flight was over two hours late in taking off due to the chaos on board
A Jet2 flight from Manchester Airport faced significant delays after onboard disruption led to police storming the plane.
After the 'particularly disruptive' individual was turfed off the flight by police, the airline issued an apology for the inconvenience caused and expressed gratitude towards both law enforcement and cabin staff for managing the situation. The initial departure time was scheduled for 4.15pm on Thursday but following the incident, take-off was pushed back to 6.30pm. Emphasising its stringent policy on passenger conduct, Jet2 reiterated its commitment to a 'zero tolerance approach' to such behaviour.
