Police, firefighters and paramedics have been spotted near the Admiral Woods pub near Waterloo Street, with a section of the road taped off in an ongoing incident.

The area has been locked down with a police cordon in place. Several emergency service vehicles have been pictured at the scene, with multiple officers standing guard.We have contacted Police Scotland, Scottish Fire and Rescue and Scottish Ambulance Service for comment.Police Scotland, Scottish Fire and Rescue and the Scottish Ambulance Service remain in attendance with officers standing guard as the area continues to be locked down.

The nature of the incident is currently unknown however, it is believed to have happened in a lane beside the Admiral Woods pub.A Scottish Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said: "We are currently in attendance alongside emergency service partners at an incident on Wellington Lane, Glasgow.

They said: "We received a call at 14:39 to attend an incident on Wellington Lane, Glasgow. An ambulance, paramedic response unit and a trauma team were dispatched to the scene."The pilot was filmed making the speech in the middle of the plane after he was made aware that the behaviour in the departure lounge was "getting towards the limit of what's tolerable".
