Sunday Morning With Trevor Phillips is live from 8.30am, and we'll be talking to Health Secretary Wes Streeting following a shocking report into children's health.
Ahead of next week's vote on cutting the winter fuel allowance for pensioners, the prime minister has defended the proposals and said stabilising the economy requires 'tough decisions'.Sir Keir Starmer told the BBC that his party needs to 'fix the fundamentals' in terms of public finances. He argued the winter fuel allowance is now 'targeted' and those 'most in need' will continue to get the payment.
Asked whether he is willing to be unpopular, Mr Starmer said: 'We're going to have to be unpopular. Tough decisions are tough decisions.'He was also questioned on whether he would suspend or kick out an MP that votes against him next week. 'I think it’s very important for parliament to speak on this,' he said.'But every Labour MP was elected in on the same mandate as I was, which is to deliver the change that we need for the country over the time we’ve got in office.
