A CNN-SSRS poll found Trump is behind Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden by several points in Florida, Michigan and Arizona — key states to win the 2020 election.
President Donald Trump continues to trail presumptive Democratic nominee Joe Biden in battleground states he won in 2016, according to a new poll.
The poll of around 1,000 registered voters in each state was conducted from July 18-24, during a period when Trump sought to reset his campaign as a result of plunging poll numbers amid his handling of the coronavirus pandemic. The poll, which surveyed 1,020 registered voters in the state from July 14-22 with a margin of error of 3.7 points, found that Biden had support from Latinos, women, voters with college degrees, those who are under 45 as well as those who live in cities and suburbs.
