A brand new location will be situated right in Piccadilly Gardens
A brand new Popeyes restaurant will open in Manchester this winter, the restaurant chain has confirmed.
The American fried chicken spot will be situated at the heart of town in Piccadilly Gardens and will become the brand's 34th opening since it began its UK expansion in 2021. The new location will open to members of the public on Thursday, October 26 this year. Ahead of the launch, fans of the chain will be able to enter a competition where they can win a Chicken Sandwich on opening day. The chain is encouraging people to head down as early as they can on opening day after customers queued for 16 hours to get their hands on the Louisiana Chicken Sandwich during the opening in Cardiff Bay.
At the opening, customers will have the opportunity to try a wide range of items, including the Chicken Sandwich and original Southern biscuit and gravy. Breakfast aficionados will also be able to try out the new breakfast menu which includes the Big Breakfast Rolls that contain a sausage patty, egg, streaky bacon, and American cheese in a soft bun.
