A year after its closure, CBRB (Cocktail, Beer, Ramen & Bun) has announced it will be popping up at another restaurant for the night - and it's only a couple of weeks away. The team at CBRB will be heading over to the recently launched New Wave Ramen on Tib Lane for Easter Sunday for a special takeover.
Japanese ramen bar and restaurant New Wave will be hosting the CBRB as part of their series of culinary takeovers. Having already established itself over at Mackie Mayor, New Wave opened their very own permanent site off Cross Street and Princess Street in September 2023, serving up signature bowls of ramen and authentic Japanese food. The collaboration with the now shuttered CBRB is the latest in a string of pop-up takeovers. While it's only been open a few months, the team at New Wave have successfully establishing themselves on the UK Ramen restaurant circuit and have hosted takeovers from the likes of Cardiff's Matsudai and London-based Kanada Ya.
